Eat like a local
We’ve put together some more information as to where to eat and drink on the St Davids Peninsula. As well as the pubs and restaurants listed on our explore page we think the places below deserve a mention.
The Grub Kitchen – Lower Harglodd Farm, St Davids
Just a mile away from the Shepherd’s Hut in St Davids is this award winning visitor attraction and restaurant. Grub Kitchen is based on the academic center of excellence, and working farm- The Bug Farm. Together, we will take you on a journey from field to fork. On the way, we will show you the amazing world of insects, the services they provide and the exciting new practice of eating insects (entomophagy). Insects are always on the menu, yet we also serve much, much more. From fresh local fish to conservation grade meat, and great veggie dishes. Grub Kitchen uses produce from the farm and the local area on our innovative menus, deliciously demonstrating how we can eat more sustainably now, and for the future.
